I have people come to me for coaching and personal development or to learn additional skills such as mindfulness, but then realise that what they really needed is counselling support. I’ve also seen people resolve major issues through counselling and now want to move on with life and thrive, but this needs a different approach from counselling. Others may want coaching, mentoring or to learn mindfulness skills to help them learn and grow and to take into their day-to-day life.

Coaching and personal development can help if you are pursuing goals such as career development, weight loss or pain management as it gives both a target and meaningful steps to help achieve it.

How Coaching and Personal Development Can Help

If you’re interested in coaching and personal development I can assist with:

  • Short, solution-focused sessions to the root of an issue and help you find a fix for it, or a way of dealing with it.
  • Cognitive-behavioural therapy to identify thinking patterns and judge whether they are helpful or not.
  • Counselling to get to the root of an issue, especially limiting beliefs which may be holding us back.
  • Goal formation and planning for something specific we would like to achieve. Coaching enables us to identify appropriate goals, form a plan for how we might get there, and identify the obstacles we need to overcome on our way there.
  • Skills development to help acquire the knowledge and ability to move ahead in life and achieve our goals. Using and learning mindfulness is a part of this, as are emotional regulation and communication skills.
  • Executive coaching if you are in a leadership or management position and want to know how to do it better and help your business grow. This also applies to entrepreneurs starting a business or trying to grow it.

My background has always involved in coaching, personal development, mentoring and training. My MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and qualification as a mindfulness meditation teacher with Mindfulness Now means you get the breadth and depth of knowledge needed. I don’t specialise in only one area or technique, I use the range to assist you with whatever you need.

How I Can Help

Sessions are online and based around £40 per hour. I’m happy to arrange one-off sessions which can be useful for problem-solving or skills development, or to build a regular programme to assist with coaching and counselling.
