Choosing who to work with and the type of assistance and support that might be right for your business or organisation often comes down to how well you can work together and whether there is a connection. This site will hopefully help you establish whether I may be able to help.

Corporate Wellbeing & Development

Organisations, and their owners, need themselves and their staff to be functioning at their best to perform, or sometimes even just to survive. This can be a function of how the owners and staff feel, or it could be about increasing skill levels. This isn’t only the skills needed for what the organisation does, but softer skills such as communication and emotional regulation. It’s not just the ability to think calmly in a crisis, it can be the every day interactions that improve performance and working relationships, and that help to reduce stress.

I have worked in business for over 35 years, first as an employee and manager working predominantly in marketing and project management, then as a self-employed marketing consultant specialising in small and micro-businesses, especially sole traders. I wrote the book Marketing for the Micro-business available via Amazon. I am also a teacher of business-related subjects for professional qualifications such as those for the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Association for Project Management and the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply.

I have also achieved an MSc in Counselling and Psychotherapy and qualifications in teaching mindfulness meditation, coaching, mentoring and cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT).

How I Can Help

I can develop packages and approaches for individuals in an organisation, or a team approach such as group mindfulness sessions or coaching, or bespoke training sessions on particular areas. Sessions can be either a one-off (such as a training course) or alternatively a structured programme to suit your needs such as for ongoing coaching support.

Mindfulness training

To help us know how we feel and react so that we can improve what we do.

Coaching and mentoring

To help with development of individual members of staff or a team. The principle here is establishing goals and what improved performance looks like, then building the skills and overcoming the barriers necessary to achieve it.

Emotional intelligence skills training

This can incorporate mindfulness skills, coaching and cognitive behavioural therapy techniques to develop understanding of how we feel, how and why others are reacting the way they are, and what we might do about it.

My Journey of Finding Peace

I’ve always been drawn towards writing and journalling and found it a big help in my own journey. I’ve written a book about my experiences but it also contains guidance on ways to live and thinking patterns. Creating it has helped me and reading it may also help you too.
